Helena was promoted to the Administrative Coordinator position in August 2016. She originally joined the AME team in the fall 2010 as Administrative Assistant. She is mainly responsible for coordinating the administrative duties for the Member Relations group, including member events and the Mineral Exploration Roundup conference.
Helena’s past experience includes over 10 years in the travel and tourism industry. Her passion from the hospitality sector has added to her role here at AME by furthering her commitment to members and guests. She enjoys connecting and assisting members and guests that participate in the many programs and events that AME offers.
Helena has a diploma in hotel front office management from the Tourism Training Institute and has also completed her Certified Administrative Professional designation in the fall of 2015.
