management. Geometallurgical data must be quantitative and spatially-constrained to be incorporated into 3-D models and mine planning activities; ideally, each block in a
resource model is attributed with multiple parameters and assigned a dollar value. Key outcomes of an improved geometallurgical knowledge include reduced technical risk, improved forecasting, enhanced economic optimization of mineral production, and fewer environmental concerns.
