Nicholas Fitzpatrick leads Newcrest’s exploration interests in Western Canada including the Brucejack Mine, Red Chris Mine in British Columbia, Canada and the search for new opportunities.
Nick is a Graduate from University of Tasmania, Centre for Ore Deposit Research. Since joining Newcrest, he has worked on a variety of Au-Cu deposit types across Australia, Indonesia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Canada. Nick specialises in early to advanced stage exploration for porphyry and epithermal deposits having been involved with significant brownfields discoveries at Cracow, Gosowong and Red Chris mines.
Nick has worked for Newcrest and been involved in the Exploration industry for more than 17 years, the past 3 years in Canada.
