Request for Proposals: Study of the Economic Impact of Mineral Exploration to BC and its Communities

AME is requesting proposals to undertake a study of the economic impact of mineral exploration to British Columbia including communities and Indigenous nations across the province. This study will support AME’s understanding of the benefits that mineral exploration provides to BC and in turn support AME’s work to advocate for our members. This study is primarily intended for AME staff and the board, but some or all of the study may be used in AME documents or publications which may be released to the government, Indigenous nations and the public.

Contract Project Manager – Development of Tools and Guidance Documents – From February to August 2019

AME is seeking a contract Project Manager to facilitate and manage the development of tools for AME members in the areas of social and environmental performance, Indigenous relations and health and safety management. The position will involve working with AME staff and committees, external experts and production companies to design and develop the tools and guidance documents using a variety of media such as videos, photos, lists, written documents and learning tools that may be presented in hard copy, online, or through social media and apps.
