Vancouver, B.C. — February 3, 2026 — On Wednesday, January 28, AME held its 114th Annual General Meeting and first Board Meeting of 2026.
AME congratulates Trish Jacques, Director, RODA Holdings, on being reappointed Chair of the AME Board. Eleanor Black, Partner, Equity Exploration, and Laura Tennent, Geologist and Project Manager, TerraLogic Exploration, have been reappointed Vice Chairs.
Maggie Layman, Manager, Exploration – Canada and USA, Teck Resources Limited, and Kevin O’Callaghan, Partner, Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, have also been appointed to the Executive Committee as Directors. Eric Casey, Vice President, Skeena Gold and Silver, has been reappointed to the Executive Committee as Treasurer, and Jill Budelli, Executive Director, Centre of Training Excellence in Mining, will continue to serve as Past Chair.
AME also welcomes new board members Ayesha Ahmed, Rochelle Collette, Dave Morgan, Dustin Perry and Jonas Rigaux to the Board, and thanks outgoing directors Sam Adkins, Carmen Jensen and Janice Fingler for their service. The full board may be viewed here.
At the Annual General Meeting, AME members also approved changes to the bylaws relating to basic definitions and general governance matters.
