As Lead, Events and Conference, Shamayne oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of AME’s full portfolio of events, including AME Roundup, the flagship annual conference that welcomes over 6,500 participants from across the mineral exploration sector.
She leads the end-to-end management of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, working closely with internal teams, industry partners, sponsors, and vendors to deliver exceptional, inclusive, and professional experiences. From content development and logistics to stakeholder engagement and post-event reporting, Shamayne plays a key role in advancing AME’s mission and strategic priorities through exceptional delivery of professional, impactful, and inclusive events that provide meaningful educational content, facilitate networking, and strengthen the mineral exploration and development community.
