Outreach
Public support for mineral exploration and development in British Columbia is strengthened through informed and collaborative dialogue with all sectors of the community.

At AME, we support the work of various regional exploration groups and specialist partners with their public educational outreach across BC. The events and resources developed by these groups seek to engage audiences outside of the industry in order to raise awareness and inform the public about the value of mineral exploration and mining.

Regional Exploration Groups

AME Regional Outreach in Action
Every year, AME provides funding to support regional public outreach across the province. Public outreach and education are done by the regional exploration group representatives and volunteers and aim to reach a variety of audiences from business groups to school children. The events and projects are planned to engage audiences outside of the industry in order to raise awareness of the value of mineral exploration and mining.
Thank you to these groups for their work promoting the mineral exploration industry and for supporting AME’s Strategic Plan and Priorities; Successful Exploration, Public Awareness and Stakeholder Awareness, Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation, Member Benefits and Services and AME Roundup.
