AME encourages mineral explorers to foster respectful relationships through early and meaningful engagement with indigenous groups to move forward with successful mineral exploration and development. A mineral project that is understood and supported by indigenous people is a foundational component of successful exploration. There are opportunities during Roundup to facilitate discussion of interests and issues with leaders (indigenous, political and industry) and hear and share their perspectives in an earnest and open manner.

Roundup offers a highly technical program aimed at geoscientists to keep up-to-date with the best in the industry.  Our slate of Short Courses provide delegates with opportunities to go beyond the technical and best practice sessions for practical expertise for daily on-the-job use with relevant and up-to-date knowledge to the industry. Our renowned Technical Sessions feature skilled mineral explorationists highlighting their recent successes based upon the elements of research, innovation, technical expertise and clever project management. This years’ theme session is Seeing the Unseeable looking into how the new ways to see ore systems undercover, at depth or from their cryptic expressions on the surface can improve drilling success. The Precious Metal Session attendees will learn specifically about gold and silver projects. The Base Metals Session will cover a broader range of commodities that could include copper, zinc, lead and nickel.

You’re an investor and you want to learn more about junior mining projects and the industry? You must check out the Core Shack, this is where you will get first-hand indication into new discoveries, leading prospects, advanced projects and operating mines around the world. Most importantly, you will meet with the Geo’s who are always more than happy to tell you about their exploration activities and projects.  For similar reasons, the Project Generators Hub and Prospector’s Tent will give you insight into what is happening out in the field.
