Speakers

Jennifer Anthony

Director, Resource Development and Special Projects, ADM’s Office, Mines Competitiveness and Authorizations Division, Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation

Presentation: COVID Considerations

When COVID shutdowns hit in March 2020, Jennifer raised her hand to ask what could be done to support and help the ministry and the Province in responding to the pandemic. A year later Jennifer has walked a path that she would never have envisioned and over a dozen years with government did not prepare her for the tsunami she was stepping into. Discussions with health authorities, the Provincial Health Officer and her staff, and medical professionals has increased not only her vocabulary on medical terms, but also provided the opportunity to relay and support industry concerns and perspectives back to health professionals throughout the pandemic. From the most basic of COVID prevention techniques to more comprehensive protocols, testing, vaccine rollouts and cluster management-there are many facets to managing COVID nowadays. Come join Jennifer for a walk through of COVID Considerations as they relate broadly to your worksite, camp or approaching planning for the season ahead.
