Laura is a third-generation participant in the mining business and graduated with a B.Sc in Earth and Environmental Sciences from the University of British Columbia in 2014. Having worked on various exploration and mining operations in both British Columbia and Saskatchewan, she is currently working as an independent consultant for Norse Gold Corp and Omineca Mining and Metals Ltd. 

Laura has industry experience in all aspects of mineral exploration, and has had the opportunity to work with Skeena Resources and TerraLogic Exploration at many notable projects in British Columbia including Eskay Creek, Snip, Dolly Varden Silver, and the Gibraltar mine. From these projects and many others, she has gained technical and project management experience in VMS, vein hosted and structurally controlled gold, porphyry and epithermal silver-gold-base metal deposits.

As a director for AME, Laura continues to provide a grassroots exploration, on the ground perspective to the board and advocate and support prospectors and developers at all scales.
