From the Chief Gold Commissioner regarding the Mineral Tenure Act. Under section 6.36 of the Mineral Tenure Act, this extends registering work requirements or registering revised expiry dates for all existing mineral and placer claims to December 31, 2021. This is a key short-term action that AME advocated for and we are pleased that the BC Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources has acted so quickly on this recommendation.
