Last month, AME released its “What We Heard” report detailing AME’s members concerns regarding the modernization of the Mineral Tenure Act and highlighting recommendations. In early September, government is expected to present options on what a mineral claims consultation framework could entail to meet the requirements set forth in Justice Ross’s ruling in Gitxaala v British Columbia (Chief Gold Commissioner).
