In 1981 Peter started his own consulting company, Peter Christopher and Associates, providing his expertise to junior mining companies with properties in British Columbia and all over the world. He quickly built a solid reputation with Colleagues and Clients for his commitment, integrity and ethical values. Peter truly loved his work, and enjoyed the many opportunities to travel extensively to interesting places all over the world. He could entertain people for hours relaying his many experiences.

Peter was a natural athlete and excelled playing many sports: skiing, tennis (former years) and later an avid low handicap golfer. He won many tournaments much to the chagrin of his competitors. Another strong passion for Peter was the love of his garden where he produced a great variety of vegetables which he took great pleasure in supplying to friends and family. He also developed an interest in dahlias which he would compete with neighbour Jim to grow bigger and better ones. He also loved to socialize and would meet with a couple of friends for coffee regularly, he decided it would be a good idea to expand upon this and become a more scheduled affair. This quickly took off and so a men’s coffee club was born in Kerrisdale called the K3’s. This was a wonderful means of support and companionship during his medical treatments.

In his life Peter achieved many admirable accomplishments, and this is best reflected by the multitude of friends he has garnered over time. He is very much loved for his unique sense of humour, kindness, thoughtfulness, and willingness to help. He will be greatly missed and stay in our hearts forever.

He was predeceased by parents, Marie and Michael Christopher of New York, his sisters Betty (Oliver) and Barb (Vic). He leaves behind his brothers Bob (Karen) and Michael (Jean) along with many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and In-laws.
