Class Field Trips

KEG Volunteer Ed Frey hosted a field trip for an Aberdeen Elementary School Grade 3 class titled “Highlights of Geological Environments of Kamloops”. Travelling by school bus, the field trip stops at 8 sites within Kamloops for students to explore.  KEG hosts these events on a request basis.

KEG Volunteer Ed Frey hosted another two kindergarten classes over two days with a brief intro to geology. He gave a short lecture followed by a fun walk along the beach, examining pebbles and their origins.

KEG Volunteer Social

Our many events held annually are only made possible with the help of volunteers.  KEG hosted a catered dinner and bowling night, including a door prize and top bowler prize.  We also accepted donations to give to the local Kamloops Food Bank.
